Restoring My Whole Health Amid the Chaos of Modern Life

Hi, I’m Georgia, mum of two little ones, living in Brooklyn, and a Registered Nutritional Therapist with over a decade of experience in the health and wellness industry. I’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the business, yet after the birth of my second child, I was anything but the picture of health.

At four months postpartum, I was back at work full-time, juggling a toddler, a baby, a dog, and the never-ending physical and mental load of day-to-day life. Outwardly, I was starting to resemble the “old me” again, but inwardly I felt anything but. I was exhausted, disconnected, depleted in every possible sense.

As life resumed at full speed, the world (and I) seemed to forget I’d just had a baby. I looked like I was coping, but underneath I was running on empty. Instead of seeing this as a sign, I became increasingly frustrated with myself for being so tired and quietly convinced there must be something wrong.

The more I spoke to other women, the more I realised I wasn’t alone. What I was experiencing wasn’t unusual, many women were carrying the invisible weight of depletion: years of chronic stress, disrupted sleep, emotional labour, under-eating, over-giving, and never quite slowing down long enough to restore and recover. The more conversations I had, the clearer it became: this pattern wasn’t limited to pregnancy or postpartum. Yes, motherhood had intensified this for me, but it hadn’t created it.

Coming up to my daughter’s first birthday, I hit a turning point. I didn’t want to enter another year dragging my health behind me. I wanted to feel more like myself again, not just functioning, but actually well. But everything I found related to restorative women's health was either focused on early postpartum, or at the other end of the scale with unrealistic fitness and diet programs that didn’t fit the reality of my everyday. Nothing acknowledged the messy, complex middle ground I was standing in, nutritionally depleted, time-poor, emotionally stretched; simply in need of renewal. So I created it myself.

I started with a deep dive into my new baseline, hormonally, nutritionally, emotionally, and from there built a realistic, holistic nutrition plan that honored the season of life I was in. Slowly I began to restore my whole self.

That’s what led me to create The Whole Heal, for women who are giving a lot, holding a lot, yet quietly depleted and running on empty. For those living in the thick of modern life, where exhaustion is normalised and self-care is often the first thing to go.

The Whole Heal is about restoring your whole self without the pressure to do it all perfectly, just thoughtful, realistic, evidence-based holistic nutrition support designed to fit your actual life.

This work is intricate and personal, I know, because I’ve lived it. And now, I’m here to help you find your way back to feeling well, too.
